This archive contains several documents and forms pertaining to the Icon
programming language as well as a set of example Icon programs. The
example programs were selected from the Icon Programming Library. They
are commented and two of them come with associated data files. The
complete Icon Programming Library is available from the University of
Arizona.

The documents enclosed in this archive are for the most part generic in
their discussion of Icon. There is an Atari ST specific document enclosed
in the Icon Language Archive (iconlang.arc) that overrides any
contradictory references contained in these documents.

The order form from the University of Arizona (flyer.doc) doesn't include a
blank for the Atari ST version of Icon yet. The Atari ST version of Icon
can be obtained from the on-line service where you obtained this
documentation. It's in the iconlang.arc archive. I strongly recommend you
purchase "The Icon Programming Language" from Prentice Hall for a complete
reference on the language. The book is available from the University of
Arizona. The order form contained in flyer.doc tells how to order it.

Thanks. Jerry Nowlin
