Hello, everybody! I have met great problem with configuration of network. I work under OS9x86 and I have appropriate device drvs and device descriptiors. The problem is: I can't assign two IP addresses for one ethernet card. The second is: I can't configure 2 network adapters under one OS9x86. Can any body help me?? PS: Sorry for posting at this topic.. |

>I can't assign two IP addresses for one ethernet card.< You can only assign one IP address to one ethernet card. This is not because of OS9. It's because of the structure of the WWW. If you have two ethernet cards, you assign one IP address for each card. >I can't configure 2 network adapters under one OS9x86.< This should be possible. In Linux you create for each card a seperate device pointer, like /dev/eth0 and /dev/eth1 or something. |

The first question is are you using ISP or SPF. Either way you can have multiple ethernet connections in OS-9. You must have a unique descriptor for each card, and with spf you must have 2 entries in the interfaces.conf file. |
