Nominations of academics

Concerning Rich Salz' complaint about the lack of academics
nominated for the Board, I certainly cannot speak for the Nominating
Committee nor the criteria they used for selection.  However, I would
like to point out that Salz may have overlooked
the fact that two of the six Committee nominees for the Open Board positions
are academics:
	Kirk McKusick	Asst. Professor at UC Berkeley
	Bob Morris 	Professor at U Mass Boston

I think that 33% (2/6) is decent representation.
