The MSWRD6.EXE file you downloaded contains a converter that allows 
Microsoft Word 2.0 for Windows to read files created by Microsoft Word 
6.0 for Windows, Windows NT, and the Macintosh. This converter is 
intended for users of Word 2.0 for Windows who don't yet have 
immediate access to Word 6.0.

To use the converter follow the setup instructions included in this 
letter. If you have questions about installing or using the converter, 
one of our Product Support Services technicians will be glad to assist

Setup Instructions:

1. Start Microsoft Windows.

2. From Program Manager, select File menu and choose Run.

3. Type "source:\setup" (without quotation marks) and press Enter.
   "Source" is the path to the directory containing extracted contents
   of MSWRD6.EXE. 

Release Notes: 
 
 - This converter will not run under Windows 3.0. This is because Word
   6.0 for Windows uses object linking and embedding (OLE) 2.0 for
   file storage, so several OLE 2.0 files are required for the
   converter to read Word 6.0 for Windows files. These OLE files are
   not guaranteed to work under Windows 3.0.
 
 - Note that those formatting features added in Word 6.0 for Windows
   that did not exist in Word 2.0 will not be retained in conversion.
   A complete list is included in the file WRD6CONV.DOC which is
   installed with the converter.
