This OS/2 archie command line version is ported from the C-archie source found on an internet archive near you. It is the "fixed" version 1.4.1 of the archie client. This is free software, but there are a couple of copyright issues that I've inherited. At the bottom of this file I've included the relevant copyright information. To get some minor help information, type "archie -?". The default server is archie.sura.net. If you get this package and would like the source, please send me some email (dzoey@apexgrp.com) and I will gladly send it to you. I hope to merge my changes into the regular archie distribution, but I don't know when that will happen. The command line version of the archie client was originally ported to OS/2 1.x using FTP software's TCP stack. I do not know who the original porter was, but he/she did a good job, because porting archie to OS/2 2.x using IBM's TCP/IP 2.0 was pretty straight forward. Please mail all bug reports to dzoey@apexgrp.com. I will try and address them as my workload permits. ======================================================= /* These are the uw-copyright.h and usc-copyright.h files that appear in the Prospero distribution. */ /* Copyright (c) 1989, 1990, 1991 by the University of Washington Permission to use, copy, modify, and distribute this software and its documentation for non-commercial purposes and without fee is hereby granted, provided that the above copyright notice appear in all copies and that both the copyright notice and this permission notice appear in supporting documentation, and that the name of the University of Washington not be used in advertising or publicity pertaining to distribution of the software without specific, written prior permission.
