This is the tomsrtbt distribution, "The most Linux on 1 floppy." Further documentation is available at: http://www.toms.net/~toehser/rb/ This is for installing tomsrtbt when you don't already have Linux. If you already have tomsrtbt on a floppy, don't use this- instead, boot tomsrtbt, then do "Clone.s" under tomsrtbt. If you already have Linux, don't use this- instead, get the normal tomsrtbt distribution, and run "Install.s" under Linux. I tried DOS utilities to do the DOS install, using "fdformat" to do the 1.7M diskette format, and "rawr1722" to copy the image onto the floppy. There were many problems with these approaches, and I abandoned them. This current procedure boots a Linux directly from DOS with no other capability than to install tomsrtbt onto a floppy. You must be in DOS or MS-DOS MODE, if you are in Windows-95 you have to "shutdown and restart the computer in MS DOS mode". After restarting in DOS mode if necessary, go to the directory where you unzipped this, and run "install". Have a writable floppy ready. If there are any questions, I can be reached at Tom@Toms.NET.
