К  1. This printer selection is designed for non-European languages.        К

К  2. If you are using a compatible printer, you may need to set a DIP      К
К     switch to make it look like an IBM Proprinter.                        К

К  3. Your printer probably has a DIP switch to choose between a buffer,    К
К     and the use of downloadable characters. It must be set for the use    К
К     of downloadable characters. See your manual.                          К
К                                                                           К
К 5. Not all printers are 100% Proprinter compatible. You may find that     К
К    selecting an alternate 'TYPE' solves your problem. For the technical-  К
К    minded, each TYPE has different download character range as follows:   К

К        TYPE 0 - Default download   TYPE 3 - Ascii 58-63                   К
К        TYPE 1 - Ascii 128-255      TYPE 4 - Ascii 32-127 (Default)        К
