Starting the diagnostic program: (1). Prepare one bootable diskette for your system's bootstrap, because the original diagnostic diskette doesn't support bootable function. (2). After bootstrap, following the prompt, you need to type diag486 attach then press , or diagnos then press . where file "attach" is the name of the files on the test diskette that extended with a ".cfg". However, "attach.cfg" is substantially named according to the machine model that you want to detect. Caution: Avoid to utilize physical format function of 'HDISK.EXE' or funtion 'UTILITY' while run diagnostic program if your system equipes with an ESDI or SCSI hard disk, otherwise, the function will damage your hard disk.
