Microsoft Windows 2.x Printer Drivers

This directory contains printer drivers for the Kodak Diconix 180si
150 Plus, 150 and Color 4 printers.  Each driver consists of two separate files
(GENDRV.EXE and either DCNX180.DRV, DCNX150P.DRV, DCNX150.DRV or DICONIX4.DRV).
When using Windows 2.x, both files must reside in the Windows directory with
any other printer drivers already installed.

Microsoft Windows 2.0+ Printer Drivers

Installation:
------------
     NOTE: The files in the directory "WIN2" are for Windows 2.X support only.

1)   Use the DOS COPY command to copy the file "GENDRV.EXE" from this
     diskette to the Windows directory on your hard disk.  (Example:
     COPY A:\WINDOWS\WIN2\GENDRV.EXE C:\WINDOWS).

2)   Use the DOS COPY command to copy the file "DCNX150P.DRV", "DCNX150.DRV" or
     "DICONIX4.DRV" from this diskette to the directory where any other
     printer drivers you have are already installed.  (Example:
     COPY A:\WINDOWS\WIN2\DCNX150P.DRV C:\WINDOWS).

3)   Start up Windows, and run the program "CONTROL.EXE".

4)   Select "Add New Printer..." from the "Installation" menu.
     Follow the steps given to load either of the drivers.  Repeat
     this process if you wish to install both printer drivers.

5)   Select "Connections..." from the "Setup" menu to connect a
     printer to a port, then select "Printer" from the "Setup" menu
     to select a printer as the Windows default printer.

6)   Panel A DIP Switch Settings:

          Diconix 180si       No setup changes needed.

          Diconix 150 Plus    Switch #3 UP, all others DOWN.

          Diconix 150         All switches DOWN.

          Diconix Color 4     No switches need to be changed.

The printers are now ready for use under Microsoft Windows.
