Use the DRIVER.EXE utility contained on the "Printer Drivers for DOS
Applications HP DeskJet 310" diskette to decompress and copy the printer
driver files to your WordStar directory.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  This driver is intended ONLY for WordStar Ver. 7.0d.
If you have a previous version, contact WordStar International 
Corporation to upgrade to version 7.0d.

&d1D(s3BSelecting the Printer in WINSTALL&d@(s0B
 1.  Run the WINSTALL program provided with your WordStar package.
 2.  Highlight "Modify or install a printer (PRCHANGE)" and press <Enter>.
 3.  In the "Installed Printer Menu", type a new PDF name.  For example:
     DJ310  ...then press <Enter>.
 4.  Highlight "Extra database" ...then press <Enter>.
 5.  Highlight "Hewlett-Packard DeskJet 310" ...then press <Enter>.
 6.  Highlight "Select printer adapter port", press <Enter>.  Highlight
     the interface port (e.g. LPT1) and press <Enter>.
 7.  Although there is no Sheet Feeder specifically for the DJ 310 printer,
     you can install the DeskJet Portable sheet feeder by highlighting
     "Install Sheet Feeder" and pressing <Enter>.  Highlight
     "HP DeskJet Portable" and press <Enter>.
 8.  Highlight "Return to Installed Printer Menu" ...then press <Enter>.
 9.  Type "Y" (Yes) if you want the DeskJet 310 to be your default printer.
10.  Press F10-Finished.
11.  Highlight "Save and return to DOS" ...then press <Enter>.

1. The paper size defaults to US Letter (8.5" x 11").  Use the Layout pulldown
   menu to select A4 or other paper sizes and types.  Transparency and glossy
   media printing is implemented with .bn commands.

2. Use WSCHANGE to set the super/subscript roll to 0 (.sr 0) to take full
   advantage of hardware superscript and subscript positioning.  This is
   necessary when you print graphics adjacent to text and use footnotes or
   explicit subscripts or superscripts.

3. Graphics in landscape orientation are not supported.

4. Overlapping graphics may cause one of the graphics not to print even though
   they may be previewed on screen.  If this occurs, resize (shrink) one of the
   graphics.
