Use the DRIVER.EXE utility contained on the "Printer Drivers for DOS
Applications HP DeskJet 310" diskette to decompress and copy the printer
driver file to the WordPerfect directory on your hard disk.

To select the DeskJet 310 printer from WordPerfect, do the following:
 1.  Press Shift-F7.
 2.  Select "S - Select...".
 3.  Select "A Add Printer...".
 4.  Use the arrow keys to highlight "HP DeskJet 310 (Black Pen)".
 5.  Choose "S Select...", and press <Enter> to confirm the printer
     filename.
 6.  Press F7 to exit the Information window.
 7.  Choose "S Sheet Feeder...".
 8.  Use the arrow keys to highlight "HP DeskJet 310 (SF)".
 9.  Choose "S Select..."
10.  Press F7 to exit the Information window.
11.  Press F7 to exit the Edit Printer Setup window.  If you want to add
     the color printer driver as well, continue with the following steps.
     Otherwise, skip to step 21.
12.  Select "A Add Printer...".
13.  Use the arrow keys to highlight "HP DeskJet 310 (Color Pen)".
14.  Choose "S Select...", and press <Enter> to confirm the printer
     filename.
15.  Press F7 to exit the Information window.
16.  Choose "S Sheet Feeder...".
17.  Use the arrow keys to highlight "HP DeskJet 310 (SF)".
18.  Choose "S Select..."
19.  Press F7 to exit the Information window.
20.  Press F7 to exit the Edit Printer Setup window.
21.  Highlight the printer you want to be the default printer and press
     "S Select"
22.  Press F7 to close the Print/Fax window.

how to select your printer within WordPerfect.

1. A printing error may occur if superscripted and/or subscripted text is
   placed between two side-by-side graphic images.  If this occurs, please
   contact WordPerfect Corporation for a work-around solution.

2. When using landscape fonts, the minimum left margin should be 0.7" and
   the minimum top margin should be 0.3".

3. To set the Text Quality for scalable/graphic fonts, you must set the
   Graphics quality rather than Text Quality in the Print/Fax Window
   (Shift-F7).

4. The default sheet-feeder is set for manual feed.  It can be set in the
   Page Setup area (Shift-F7, 3 - Page..., 4 - Paper Size/Type..., select
   the paper type, 3 Edit..., 4 - Paper Location..., Highlight Manual
   or Cut Sheet Feeder, and press 1 - Select).
