Use the DRIVER.EXE utility contained on the "Printer Drivers For DOS
Applications HP DeskJet 310" diskette to decompress and copy the printer driver
files to the MS Works directory on your hard disk.

To install the DeskJet 310 printer drivers in MS Works, do the following:
 1. Within an open or a new document, select Printer Setup from the
    Print menu.
 2. Press <Alt>+C or Click "Change Printer & Option" with the mouse.
 3. Press <Alt>+I or Click "Install New..." with the mouse.
 4. When Works prompts for the Works Setup Disk, type the directory where
    you installed the DeskJet 310 printer driver files (e.g. C:\WORKS)
    and press <Enter>.
 5. Highlight the DeskJet 310 B/W Only printer from the Available printers
    list box.
 6. Highlight DSK310_L from the Available Options list box.
 7. Press <Alt>+I or Click "Install" with the mouse.
    Note: Although nothing appears to happen, the driver selected is actually
          installed.  The window remains to allow you to install
          additional drivers.
 8. Highlight DSK310_P from the Available Options list box.
 9. Press <Alt>+I or Click "Install" with the mouse.
10. Press <Alt>+D or Click "Done" with the mouse.
11. Press <Alt>+D or Click "Done" with the mouse again.
12. Select your default settings and press <Enter> when finished.

1. Graphics in landscape mode are not supported.

2. Strike-out, superscripts, and subscripts are spaced incorrectly for some
   proportionally spaced fonts (CGTimes and Univers).

3. Small caps do not print correctly for some of the larger Courier and
   Letter Gothic fonts.

4. Letter Gothic 24 pitch, 6 point and 12 point text will not justify
   correctly (the character spacing is incorrect).
