This update is available electronically via CompuServe in the Hewlett-Packard peripherals forum, from Hewlett-Packard Distribution at (303) 353-7650, or Lotus Development Corporation. ============================================================================ Before proceeding with the update, please make sure there is at least 1.3 megabytes of hard disk space available on the disk containing your 1-2-3 program. This amount of disk space is required temporarily to allow the update to create copies of the files that will be modified. This is done to insure that the integrity of all files being affected remain intact during the update procedure. To perform the update procedure, you must complete these instructions: 1. Insert the disk in drive A: (or B:) 2. At the operating system prompt, type A: (or B:) and press ENTER to make A: (or B:) the current drive. 3. At the prompt, type UPDATE followed by a space and the path of your Release 2.3 or 2.4 directory, and then press ENTER. For example, if you have Release 2.4 and your directory is C:\123R24, you would type UPDATE C:\123R24 and then press ENTER. When the update is complete, the following message appears: "1-2-3 Update files have been installed. To take advantage of the new printer drivers, you must now run the 1-2-3 Install program." 4.
