T1108 TR2KA0.SYS DEVICE DRIVER The T1108 TR2KA0.SYS device driver provides the same function as IBM's Interrupt Arbitrator DXMA0MOD.SYS, which is part of the LAN Support Program. It allows Adapter Support Interface software (TR2KASI.SYS, or DXMC0MOD.SYS) and NETBIOS emulation software (DXMT0MOD.SYS) to share Interrupt 5CH. To install the device driver, edit the CONFIG.SYS file and replace or insert TR2KA0.SYS where DXMA0MOD.SYS would typically be utilized. A language code parameter can optionally be inserted on the command line. The default language, if no parameter is passed, is US English. The format for the command line in the CONFIG.SYS file is as follows: DEVICE=TR2KA0.SYS [language code] where the language code option is a two character hexidecimal number that corresponds to the DOS country code. This code indicates which language text messages are to be printed. TR2KA0.SYS itself does not use this code, but merely passes it on to NETBIOS. Current language codes supported are 01, 33, 34, 39, 45, 46, and 49. * Limitations of TR2KA0.SYS Version 1.05: 1) Must use DOS V3.3 or higher. 2) When using IBM LSP 1.22 or earlier DXMT0MOD.SYS, the language code must be set to '00' to maintain LANSUP 1.22 compatibility.
