The driver contained in the directory WNT31 is for the following 32-Bits PCI
Ethernet adapter:

                32-Bits 10Mbps PCI Ethernet adapter
                32-Bits 100Mbps PCI fast Ethernet adapter

They are used with Microsoft Windows NT Release 3.1 on the X86 platform.
The drivers named ETHPCI conform to the Network Driver Interface Specification
(NDIS) 3.0.

Installing driver on Microsoft Windows NT 3.1
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ
   1)  In the Main group of NT, choose the Control Panel icon.

   2)  In the Control Panel window, choose the Network icon.

   3)  In the Network Settings dialog box, choose the Add Adapter button.
       The Add Network Adapter dialog box appears.

   4)  In the list of network cards, select "<other> Requires disk from
       manufacturer", and then press <Enter> button.

   5)  Insert this driver disk in drive A, enter drive and pathname A:\WNT31
       and then choose the OK button.

   6)  In the Select OEM Option dialog box, you will see the following  
       products in the menu, select the exact product and use OK button 
       to install it.

   7)  And then 32-Bits 100Mbps PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter Setup dialog box
       appear, (if you choose 10Mbps adapter, a different dialog box with 
       header "32-Bits 10Mbps PCI Ethernet Adapter Setup" appears)  you must
       specify "Connection Type" of the adapter plugged in your PC.
       Because netcard detection function does not support in SETUP program,
       please make sure these setting matching your adapter's configurations.
       Otherwise the network ability of Windows NT can not work properly.

       The connection types for 10Mbps adapter are

        Auto Detection                     ; perform automatically media
                                           ; detection during driver
                                           ; initialization.

        Twisted Pair                       ; RJ-45 connector.

        Twisted Pair - Full Duplex         ; communication in full duplex mode,
                                           ; speed is 20Mbps

        Twisted Pair - No Link Test        ; support Hub which dose not generate 
                                           ; link pulses

        BNC - Thinwire  (BNC connector)    ; 10BASE2 connector.
        AUI - Thickwire (15_pin connector) ; 10BASE5 connector, this version of 
                                           ; current board dose not support the
                                           ; medium.
       

       The connection types for 100Mbps adapter are

        Auto Detection                     ; perform automatically media 
                                           ; detection during driver 
                                           ; initialization.

        TP  10 Mbps                        ; RJ-45 connector, line speed is
                                           ; 10 Mega bits per second.

        TP  10 Mbps - Full Duplex          ; communication in full duplex mode,
                                           ; speed is 20Mbps.

        BNC 10 Mbps                        ; 10BASE2 connector.

        TP 100 Mbps                        ; RJ-45 connector, line speed is
                                           ; 100 Mega bits per second.

        TP 100 Mbps - Full Duplex          ; communication in full duplex mode,
                                           ; speed is 200Mbps.


   8)  After that, installation is completed. The adapter becomes one
       of those Installed Adapter Cards and driver become one of those
       Installed Network Software. You can see: "[0x]32-Bits 100Mbps PCI Fast
       Ethernet Adapter" within Installed Adapter Cards menu and "32-Bits PCI   
       Ethernet Adapter Driver"  within Installed Network Software menu.

   9)  Now, the SETUP program has already copied ETHPCI.SYS from A:\WNT31
       directory to C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS and the OEMSETUP.INF from
       A:\WNT31 to C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 but renamed it to other installation
       information file. So next time, if you want to add these adapters
       to your system, you do not need floppy diskette again.

       NOTICE!! C:\WINNT is the directory where your NT O.S. is in.


  10)  To complete network installation, remember binding the adapter to
       transport drivers by choosing "Bindings" button under Network Setting
       dialog box.

  11)  Restarting your system you will acquire network service.
