}PLASER} IN2000.EXE provides a graphical interface that facilitates the setting of the configuration dipswitch on the Always Technology Corporation IN-2000 SCSI host adapter. The current switch settings are shown graphically and the corresponding BIOS and base address, interrupt and status of floppy controller are displayed. In addition the utility shows you how to change the switches to implement a change. The program also allows the user to "Sense the SCSI Bus" (Used to display all peripherals connected to the IN-2000 and show their SCSI ID's), and to Low Level Format SCSI Hard Disks. The low level format routine in this utility is different than the program contained in the IN-2000's EPROM. Hard drives man- factured to a block size other than 512 Bytes/sector may often be changed to the PC standard 512 Byte/sector using the IN2000- .EXE utility low level format. This program will not run properly when the ASPI manager (ASPIDRVR.SYS) is loaded.
