This is a README file for the Emerson UPS Accupower LAN Interface Kit.  It
contains information about the files on this diskette and any information
which has become available since the manual was printed.  Read this file
before beginning the installation of your Accupower LAN Interface Kit.

This release of the Network Monitor software is version 1.6, release 1.

FILES ON THE DISKETTE
---------------------

Your Network Monitor diskette has the following three files placed in the
A:\NLM directory:

    NETMON.NLM
    NETMON.TST
    NLMINS.EXE


The following four files are placed in the A:\VAP directory:

    NETMON.VAP
    NETMON.TST
    SERVER.CFG
    VAPINS.EXE


If any these files are not present on your diskette contact your dealer
immediately.

INSTALLING NETWORK MONITOR
--------------------------

Network Monitor must be installed from a workstation that has a floppy disk
drive.  It can not be run from the server (because servers run under the
Novell operating system).  To install Network Monitor, follow the
instructions contained in the manual which accompanies the software.
