@2{Note To Those Updating @3 }By Andy Gibson @4 If you have used any previous versions of DMC, whether it be the 1994 releases, F1 Demo Release or even the full F1 Licenceware Release, then please note that this NEW F1 Licenceware #3GOLD @4release is configured in a new format. For starters you no longer have to type one configuration file, but two of them ! One for the Index Headings (The text shown at the top of each Index Page) and another configuration file to hold all the colour values and information on text and picture locations etc. Another point to take note of is that the #4*iff* @4command has been altered to *iff200* and *iff256* which allows DMC to show pics either as it did before (between the info bar and user panel) or as full-screen pictures. (DMC will be hidden from view) @3 (This was requested by Norman Miller) @5Your text file commands to show coloured text has changed now also and now every colour can flash. Not only that, but new commands have been added to let you incorporate #5ClipArt @5alongside your articles now. Full details can be found on all the new commands in this manual or by loading the text files that come with DMC into your favourite text editor. New error checks are done when loading in the Config Files and you now get to see what page is being worked on during set-up. DMC_RTDD.exe has a new Information Screen if the Crm.Library is missing from your boot disk. Fully error trapped for safety if you choose to install the Library to disk. Why don't you remove the Crm.Library from the Libs Dir and load DMC_RTDD.exe to see this screen and options ? To get an overall view of what has been updated, please see the History/Versions section and check out what I've done. I hope you like the improvements and please note that if you plan to use any of your old DMC files, then only slight modifications are required. @4Please make sure you read all documentation provided either on this disk or in the supplied manual. [5 I have spent many hours working on this new update and have had it tested by a previous user of the F1 Licenceware 95 release of DMC. No major bugs have been reported yet, but if any do come flooding in, then rest assured that I will get an update released as soon as I can.
