<>@2{DMC SOURCE CODE OFFER PAGE 1 @3 }By Andy Gibson @4 Due to many requests from various users of past DMC releases, I am now offering the complete source code to both V2.0 of DMC (F1 95) and also the its Article Tester for only £10 ! Yeah, I must be MAD ! So you wnat to know what you need to run the source or edit it with ? Simple ... Amos Professional !!! Yip, DMC was written with a basic Amiga language interpreter ! Hard to beleive I know and especially since it was Amos ! Bet you wished you knew that before. However, as you can see from the final results, Amos has proven to be more than worthy of this task and I can't fault it in any way at all. I have been using Amos for just under two years now and find it to be a real joy to work with ! (who said that ?) So much so that I am now the Editor of that great disk mag - Amoszine - which is available from F1 Licenceware every two months. If you're into Amos in any respect, why not consider ordering a few issues as it is THE best Amos disk mag on the scene. (I kid you not) @3 Turn the page for more details -----@7> @2{DMC SOURCE CODE OFFER PAGE 2 @3 }By Andy Gibson @4 To edit the source code you will require: @1 Amos Professional Amos Professional Compiler Craft Extension @4 Well maybe classic Amos users could just remove all the Pro commands as I don't think there are that many ! Lost track of 'em all and I really can't be bothered to count 'em ! You will obviously require the Amos Pro compiler to, erm, compile the code when you have finished with it ! The CRAFT commands are used to load & play music modules only, so it's no big deal really as there are Amos commands that do this (though not as well as CRAFT !) So why am I selling the source code you may ask ? Well, I have now came to the stage where I am sick of updating DMC every couple of months and hence this final F1 Licenceware release. (or is it ?) So you want new features ? Code them yourself now guys n gals. I have personally made a small fortune from selling the old versions of DMC & this F1 release won't make me as much due to the very small royalty cheques, but I have to move on to other things. @2{DMC SOURCE CODE OFFER PAGE 3 @3 }By Andy Gibson @4 Don't worry, I won't be leaving Amos or the Amiga as I like 'em both and have fun working with them too ! :) However, DMC is now at a stage where I am happy with it and can't think of any other features that it requires ! Well except maybe a SEARCH facility & an option to load articles via the numeric keypad - now that would put DMC in the same league as Grapevine ! So, if you ever wanted to incorporate all your own graphics and sounds etc. into DMC, then now you can via the source code. It's fully commented in most places ! Hopefully any Amos user could easily edit the code to suit their needs as I have put as much info into the code as possible. Maybe you have a PD Library and need an exclusively coded catalogue disk ? Now you can have it and save writing and asking me to do it - for FREE !!! Yip, I don't know how many letters I have received from PD companies asking me to code their catalogue disks with DMC ! I did quite a few and a couple of them paid me some dosh, but I have to say that some did not ! @1:( @3 Turn The page for more details ---@7> @2{DMC SOURCE CODE OFFER PAGE 4 @3 }By Andy Gibson @4 OK then, I'll wrap this file up and let you get back to whatever you were doing before I grabbed your attention! If you are seriously interested in purchasing the source code, then please note that you cannot use it to release another DMC ! Nor will you be allowed to sell the code to anyone at all ! You can however use the compiled code to release your own disk mags etc. As long as you do some work to the code first of all. Makes sense don't cha think ? Right ordering details next : Send a cheque or postal order to the cash value of £10 UK Sterling only to: @1 Andy Gibson 19 Hilton Terrace Cambuslang Glasgow G72 8PD Scotland @4 Overseas please add some extra to help cover postage costs and make sure the currency is correct as it will cost me money to have it transferred etc. Cheers. @1End.
