@2{DMC TEXT COMMANDS HELP @3 }By Andy (yip me again) Gibson @4 In this text file (when loaded into your text editor) you will see how to add your own #4FLASHING TEXT @4inside sentences as well as how to include ClipArt pictures and also the text headings. @6 Let's do a whole line of Red Flashing Text Now .... #2 THIS LINE OF TEXT IS COLOURED RED AND FLASHES CONSTANTLY ! @4 Don't forget that 24 lines of text can be shown on each page and I would advise you to add at least one colour code after every couple of pages, or DMC will revert back to white (default) text ! @5 Don't forget that you can turn all these colours On or Off also ! @3 Right, enough about that for now, let's get ready to turn the page to see some ClipArt (and flashing ClipArt) that can be used with this F1 Licenceware #3GOLD @3Version of DMC. @4 Turn the page to see it now ------#4>>> [1 @4When you load this file into your text editor you will be able to see the commands used to display the ClipArt images. There are seven ClipArt images that can be displayed. Each one has its own individual position on the screen. @3 ClipArt Pic 1 - Large At Top Of Screen. ClipArt Pic 2 - Medium At Top Left Of Screen. ClipArt Pic 3 - Medium At Top Right Of Screen. ClipArt Pic 4 - Smaller At Top Left Of Screen. ClipArt Pic 5 - Smaller At Bottom Left Of Screen. ClipArt Pic 6 - Smaller At Top Right Of Screen. ClipArt Pic 7 - Smaller At Bottom Right Of Screen. @4 As you will see, the ClipArt Pics can also contain all the flashing colours (same as text colours) and this can be achieved by using the colours from the palette supplied with example ClipArt Pics. Load them into your paint package for more details and NEVER alter the resolution, positions or the palette !!! [1 [2 @5OK, so you have already seen the top ClipArt Pic (above), but now you can see another ClipArt pic to the left of this text. By carefully positioning your text, you can come up with some neat looking articles now. The AGAS Logo (above left) is ClipArt Pic Number 2 and only uses the first seven colours of the 16 colour palette. This means that it does not include any flashing colours. OK, let's turn the page and this time we will show ClipArt Pic number 3 which is just the AGAS Logo again, but this time I have used some of the available flashing colours. @3 OK Everyone .... turn that page now -----#3>>> @2{HERE'S THAT LARGE HEADING @3 }And Here's The Italic One! [3 @5 Pretty neat stuff and something which you can do easily by yourself with no real effort at all. The Logo shown above is ClipArt Pic number 3 and by using the correct colours in the palette, it flashes (obviously). On the next page I will show another couple of ClipArt Images, this time they will be at the bottom left and at the bottom right. I will be using ClipArt Pic numbers 5 and 7. Then over the next couple of pages I will combine ClipArt pic numbers 4 and 6 and also some more flashing text just to give you as much help as I can. @2{NOT ANOTHER ONE OF THESE ! @3 }Afraid so matey ! [5 [7 The best way to learn is to experiment with various options and don't forget to load this file into your text editor to see all the commands used. #7 You Can Even Have Text Shown In Here #6{HEY I CAN FLASH IN ANY COLOUR !!! #3 }So Can I (Amazing) [4 [6 @4 Don't forget that all the commands used in these text files to show ClipArt and colours etc will not be printed out to your printer @1:) @4 Please also note that the ClipArt Pics will not be printed either ! Sorry, but DMC has to have its limitations I suppose and to be honest, keeping DMC compatible with all Amiga Kickstarts was a big enough task, never mind keeping it compatible with most (if not all) printers also ! @5OK, on this page I won't display any heading as I think you should know how to do them already. I think a combination of some of the ClipArt pics and #5flashing @5text would be nice to finish this file off. [4 [7 @4 I hope you have many happy hours spicing up your text files and hope you have even more fun creating your ClipArt to be shown alongside it also. This is THE ULTIMATE #4D@4isk #4M@4ag #4C@4reator. @3 Don't forget that all the commands can also be used with the Split-Screen articles and you can fully test your articles via the DMC Article Tester. OK, that's all for this file. #3Bye! @1 End.
