@2{MEGA THANX TO ALL PAST REGISTERED USERS @3 }By Andy Gibson @4 I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has encouraged myself to keep updating this code and for all your donations (registration fees). Due to many requests from various users over the past year or so, I had no other option but to fully update the code once again ! This time round, DMC has went one step further and can now be called ... THE ULTIMATE DISK MAG CREATOR ... for the Amiga. Not only has the code been re-written from scratch, but the whole feel of DMC has been improved drastically. New features include: @3 Flashing Text, Split Screen Articles, Colours On/Off, Faster Setup, Intro Pic skipping, Background Colour of Intro Pics Now Used, fully Compatible With Files Packed With Crunch-Mania, New Animated Panel, Brand NEW Article Tester/Converter, New Fonts Used At Top Of Index, New Fonts For Messages, New Improved Print Routine, Option to alter colours for text on Index Pages (via config) plus many more features that you requested. @4 Not only have people been using DMC (previous versions) to release great disk mags such as MOVIEZONE, but PD Libraries have been using DMC to list their full catalogue of titles too. A lot of thought has went into this final release of DMC and now that I no longer have the time to code special versions for various peeps, I have decided to release the full source code for everyone to update to suit their own personal needs etc. Many people ask me what DMC was coded with ... well believe it or not, but DMC was coded with a BASIC language on the Amiga by the name of AMOS Professional !!! @1 (Aaaaarrghh !) @4 Don't get me wrong, Amos is a great language and one that I plan to keep on using. You have seen the results and know what it is capable of. I have met many Amos contacts through my Amos programming and have made a lot of friends to boot. Many contacts have helped myself with my coding probs and I would like to thank you all. I won't bore you all with a list as I'm sure you all know who you are by now. (except Lamer Steve who can't remember a damn thing!!!) @4 Well I have just about ran out of words to type as I have been at this machine all day working and my eyes can't take much more strain. So I'll sign off for now and hopefully you will enjoy this new release of DMC. @6 If you produce your own disk mags, why not send myself a copy so that I know it is being put to some use out there ? @3 Thanx again for all the inspiration you have given myself in the past and here's looking to the future ..... @1 Busy Busy Busy Bee Don't You Just Love This New DMC With So Many Options For You To Try It Must Be One Of Your Better Buys Move Over Grapevine Coz DMC Is Here Hip Hip For Andy - Have A Big Big Cheer @1 End.
