@4CREATING IFF FILES: ~~~~~~~~ ~~~ ~~~~~~ @5 Mostly all paint packages will save in IFF and most of us I think will have a copy of .... din din daaaa ..... Captain C a a v e m a a n !!! I mean DPAINT ;-) Yes it is pretty out of date now compared to other paint and presentation packages, but we all use it, don't we ? Pictures can be in any resolution except AGA (A1200 / A4000) modes. These are not supported yet but maybe at a later date. Who knows ? Please note that the viewing area of the picture is restricted to NTSC size ! eg. 320 by 200 for low res or 640 by 200 for hi-res. This is so the picture will fit inside the display area of DMC between the top info bar and the user panel. You don't have to save your picture(s) as NTSC size. In other words, only the first 200 pixels will be shown on screen. Just load the example pictures into your paint package for more details. (They contain full details on what to do, so load them in before you start to draw your own - it makes sense) @4Now with this #3GOLD @4release of DMC, you can also show Full-Screen IFF pics from the Index. @3 See the sections on the configuration files for more details on how to achieve this. #5 PLEASE REMEMBER - NO AGA PICTURE FORMATS PLEASE AS DMC IS NOT YET COMPATIBLE WITH THEM ! @6 I have not had the chance to fully test DMC with Overscan Pics or even Extra Half Bright, so please try not to use these formats. The pictures background colour will fill the entire screen, so you can create the illusion of Overscan (in a sense !) Sorry about that one ! Maybe a future update will be fixed to deal with these. HAM images should be fine. @1 End.
