Install.readme -------------- If this came to you as an archive it should be dearchived to a blank floppy named "TerminusMaster". However, it can also be installed from a directory if you desire. Two installation scripts are present, one for hard disk installation and one for creating a boot/work floppy disk set for use on a floppy based system. The script is able to create 1.3, 2.04 and 2.1 boot disks. The two installation scripts are to be used with the included Installer utility. Either script can be executed from RAM:. HD_Install ---------- This script, as the name indicates, is used both for installing and updating Terminus to a hard disk. It's execution is straightforward, respond to the questions that are posted during installation. Floppy_Install -------------- This script first requires a boot disk for copying the various font and library files needed for using Terminus. If you are supplying your own boot disk for this it will need approximately 140k of free disk for these files. Alternatively, this script can create a boot disk for you. You will need to supply a copy of your original Workbench disk, versions 1.3, 2.0 and 2.1 are supported for this operation. Second, the script requires a formatted, blank disk that will be used to install Terminus to. If you want to update a Terminus disk, make sure the disk is labled "TERMINUS" so that the script can detect this condition. Follow the directions that the script issues during execution to complete the installation successfully. - jack -
