INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION

The sudden acceleration of technical development that occured all over
Europe in the late 18th Century. Amongst the inventions were the steam
engine and the Revoltuion continued well into the 19th and 20th centuries.
It led to the emergence of the industrialist capitalist as a new power in
the land instead of the great landowner.
