README FILE FOR CLINTON_TAX Release 1.0

CLiNTon_TaX is a spreadsheet that calculates the effects of President 
Clinton's proposed changes in the structure of the personal income tax 
system on an individual's estimated income and social security taxes for 
1993.

There are three versions for Excel on this diskette:

CLNT_TX1.XLS    the spreadsheet in Excel for Windows 4.0 format
CLNT_TX1.30     the spreadsheet in Excel for Windows 3.0 format
CLNT_TX1.21     the spreadsheet in Excel for Windows 2.1 format

(Although prepared in Excel for Windows, recent Macintosh models should be 
able to read at least one of the Excel files.)
