==========================================================================

To use this disc, you will need to unarchive the compressed programs
on the CDROM to your hard disk.

To make browsing the disk easier we have provided a program called
VIEW. It runs under MSDOS (or a DOS window from Windows). It lives
in the root directory of the CDROM. This program allows you to page
through the index files and then unarchive the program(s) you want onto
your hard disk.

==========================================================================

MSDOS: The VIEW Program

To use this disc under MSDOS, first change drives to your CDROM
drive. Then type GO in the root directory of the CDROM drive and
press ENTER. This will display a menu from which you may choose to
run view or other options.

The VIEW program will display a listing of the disc's
subdirectories and their descriptions. Use the cursor (arrow) keys
to move the highlight bar up and down the screen, and press ENTER to
change into any of the subdirectories. The VIEW program will then
display a list of files within that particular directory. To view or
run any of these files, press ENTER. To copy a particular file,
press the "C" key. To return to the subdirectory listing, press the
ESCAPE key. Pressing "?" will display a help screen.

=======================================================================

For help on how to install a program you uncompressed onto your hard
drive from the CDROM run the PDSLHELP program from the GO menu.
This will give information on how to run programs.

=======================================================================

For windows programs compiled with Visual Basic, the run time library
is required. If you do not have these on your system already we have
provided copies in the VBRUN\ directory. Copy these to your windows
directory (which is most likely C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM).

=======================================================================

Although you may own this disk, you do not own the programs recorded
on it. Many of the programs on this disk are shareware. You are
free to try each program for a limited amount of time. If you are
satisfied, and want to continue to use the program, you are required
to register the program by sending a specified amount of money
directly to the author of the program. In many cases the author will
send you the most up to date version of the program and a printed
manual. Please check the individual files for specific information.
Please help support shareware by contributing to these authors. They
make discs like this possible.
