LPROTECT.NLM v2.13b update for ManageWise 1.0 

This Intel patch will update the LPROTECT.NLM for Novell's ManageWise 1.0
file servers.  This is a Windows-based program that may be run from
any workstation connected to your network.  NetWare's VLM client 
software is required. 
Follow the instructions below to complete this update:

1.  Copy VP_PATCH.EXE and the LPROTECT.NL_ file to any temporary directory.

2.  Login to the server(s) you wish to update with supervisor equivalence. 
    For NetWare 4, you will need to have Admin equivalent rights.

3.  Map a network drive to the SYS: volume on each server you wish to 
    update. Do not map-root the drives. If you have more servers to update 
    than you have connections, you will be able to logout, login, and map 
    drives to different servers from within this patch.  

4.  From Windows, run VP_PATCH.EXE from the temporary directory.  

5.  You will be prompted to select the drive letter to install the new NLM.

    This drive must be mapped to the SYS: volume and you must be supervisor

    or equivalent.  ManageWise 1.0 must also be installed to the selected 
    server prior to running the patch.

6.  After installing the patch you must unload the LPROTECT.NLM and then 
    reload it at the server console.

7.  The old LPROTECT.NLM will be saved as LPROTECT.MW1 in the SYS:MW\LDVP 
    directory.
