The MODEM.DSC file is for Carbon Copy Plus v5.x

It is upgraded to more completely support the Hayes V-Series 9600 baud modems.
Reinstall CC & CCHELP using the CCINSTAL.exe, Choose the 'V-Series Loren'
choice at the end of the list, the default speed is 19.2KBaud.

Only very old PC's and XT's must be set to 9600 as the COM port cannot handle
19.2K (external modems only).

The modem will connect normally with 2400 baud and slower modems; however,
when it detects another V-Series modem it informs CC that it has an error
free line, eliminating redundant error checking.

You will be astounded by the results!
