Welcome to the home of Waterloo TCP and Friends
--- ESSENTIAL WATTCP STUFF ----------------------------------------------
APPS.ZIP contains compiled executables and installation instructions
WATTCP.ZIP This is the complete source to applications and the kernel
the engine which does the i/o. Borland and Turbo C
WINWATTCP.ZIP Windows version of WATTCP under Borland C
MSCWATTCP.ZIP Microsoft C version of WATTCP
--- Extra Applications --------------------------------------------------
FTP.ZIP Experimental FTP, pretty fast, reliable.
PKTMUX10.ZIP Allows several packet driver applications to co-exist
BOOTP.ZIP Allows you to configure ALL your tcp/ip systems (CUTCP,
WATTCP, etc.) with one config file.
TELNETD.ZIP This is a really nifty program which lets you telnet *into*
a PC. It sort of feels like PC-Anywhere.
SMTPSERV.ZIP Accepts a heavy load of SMTP mail messages for your network.
It's new, I only started using this in December. It is
usable in place of Karn's NOS for receiving Email.
COMD.ZIP COMD takes a pc and makes it into a device sharing system.
You can attach a bunch of serial port devices such as
printers, data collection devices, modems (will need some
work), and let any tcp connected computer (pc/mac/unix)
talk to that device. Includes source code. If you wish
to compile, you will also need SRC.ZIP above.
LOAD14.EXE Can load and unload most device drivers, including ram disks.
DELFT/ Subdirectory containing excellent network diagnostic tools
Note: For unarchiving WATTCP, MSCWATTCP and WINWATTCP use the -d switch
eg. pkunzip -d wattcp.zip
