Through the years, we have been dealing in shareware, on disk and
now on CD. Very often we have had a lot of Shareware authors call
us, and us them, with very HAPPY results. To date there have been 2
companies who have asked us to remove their shareware from our
CD's. If you are an author of a shareware program that should be
on our CD's and or is on our CD's, and you have any special
requests, such as extra advertising and such, please send us any
thing you need. If for example you would like to have a little
advetisement, your own page with extra info, a little movie or
anything as such, just provide it to us and starting with the
next issue of IT, we will start providing that serice.
We recently lowered our price on our CD's. We did this for
the simple reason of a change of thinking. We now have a BBS Called
Nirvana, at 717-938-2551, offering many of the newest games and
such off the BBS, or anything you request from our CD's. We have
since been selling our CD's as a BBS service, to save you time and
money to get the newest shareware. In fact our prices are SO low
that it is obvious we are not selling the games or programs on our
CD's, instead we are selling just the time and effort in collecting
the material and interfacing it as well as covering our manufacture
costs. By purchasing our CD's you are also renewing your BBS
membership and insuring our continued services.
Remember as a shareware user it is your obligation that if you
like something, and use it on a regular basis, you should register
or pay for that program. Shareware is a way for authors, like you or I,
who are not well off in the $$$$$ wayto distribute thier
programs and recieve SOME compensation. The sad fact to the
matter is that many people do NOT register thier stuff.
I am not attempting to say register EVERYTHING!!!!!, but to be
considerate of the efforts it took to make the particular program that you
like, and use on a regular basis.
Our thoughts and efforts in this manner are to provide YOU, the
user the easiest, and cheapest way to find the programs you will like,
and use ofter, BUT we do ask, at least , to consider registering some
of the programs you use a lot!!! We have provided you with a little
extra money, by our price structure, Make an AUTHOR HAPPY, Be an American!!!
