Announcing v4.0 of Time & Chaos Professional

To INSTALL this Program:

Time & Chaos REQUIRES the module VBRUN200.DLL in order to be installed and run.
This DLL is common to many windows applications; as such, it is most often 
distributed separately.  This is done so you do not have to download it for 
each and every program.  It SHOULD be placed into the WINDOWS subdirectory on
your hard disk.  If you do not have this utility already, it is available on 
most BBS systems and On-Line Services.  For example, it is available on our
BBS (214)530-2762 and on CompuServe (WINSHARE forum, lib #10 - filename is
VBRUN2.ZIP).  Once you have this file.....
	
	Run the INSTALL.EXE utility included with this ZIP FILE
			
		By default, a new subdirectory will be created called
		C:\T&C40 and all of the appropriate files will be copied
		there.  It will also create a new Program Manager Group and
		ICON for you.  To run the program, just double click on the
		Time & Chaos ICON, as you would any windows program.


UPGRADING INFORMATION:

	If you are upgrading from a previous version of Time & Chaos.  It is
	important that you understand the following point:

		Time & Chaos will be installed to a different subdirectory
		than before.  

		As such, your datafiles will need to be COPIED to the new
		subdirectory.  You can do this by copying your old datafiles
		to the new subdirectory.

		You must copy:

		Appt.isd
		Appt.isf
		Appt.ism
		Appt.isp (only if you have one)

		ToDoList.isd
		ToDoList.isf
		ToDoList.ism

		PhoneBk.isd
		PhoneBk.isf
		PhoneBk.ism

		YPhoneBk.isd
		YPhoneBk.isf
		YPhoneBk.ism

		OR....

		
		A simple DOS command:  COPY C:\CHAOS\*.IS* C:\T&C40

The first time that you start the new version. It will ask you if it is OK to
convert your datafiles to the new format.  Once, you convert these files they
may NOT be used with a previous version of Time & Chaos, so DO NOT DELETE your
old datafiles until you are sure that you love the new version.

for $14.95/user.  If you ordered Time & Chaos AFTER MAY 1, 1993 then we will
be glad to give you the new security code at no charge.
