This version of minixfs supercedes all previous versions and is designed to work
with MiNT 0.9x . One nasty bug has been fixed which messes up files (and
filesystems) when writing to files bigger than about 1Mb , this was discovered
entirely by accident when a minix partition of mine suddenly became trashed :-(
Also in this version is V2 filesystem support and 'long filename filesystem'
support , see MINIT.DOC and MINIXFS.DOC for more details, there should be no
problems with AHDI now either (if you run fixup/minit -p , see minit.doc for
more info). Lots more diagnostics are put out by this version too , so if a
filesystem suddenly starts spewing out messages to the console something is
wrong. If this was a perfect filesystem before , please let me know how this
happened , giving details of your setup (hard disk , driver software , version
of minix you are using [if any] etc), if you can also tell me how to reproduce
the bug , so much the better.
Please send any queries by EMAIL , I may well miss Usenet articles ....
