Best Electronics, one of the leading distributors of products and parts for ALL Atari computers and systems, says it will have a representative sample of goodies from its Summer '93 catalog, which owner Brad Koda says is 25 to 50 percent bigger than the last edition. If you're in the upgrade market, Koda expects to have on these items on hand. One of the newest, most powerful products is the new Marpet 8 megabyte plug-in RAM card for Atari Mega 2/4 computers, providing end-users with a potential 12 MB of usable memory. The Mega STE version is in the works, he adds. Koda says visitors to the San Jose, Calif., firm's booth can also try out its Demo Keyboard with "TT" touch upgrade contacts installed for 520ST/1040ST/STE/Falcon keyboards. Also, look for the company's new STE TOS Switcher, Fancy Mouse Clear see-through Atari mouse, its MegaSTE/TT Best Series power supply, 1040ST power supplies and trackballs. Koda, who is looking forward to meeting loyal customers and making new friends, advises shoppers who need a specific Atari part to phone a week to 10 days before CAF'93 so that he can have the part ready for pickup at the show. Best Electronics' phone number is (408) 243-6950. Koda says the new Best catalog (Revision 10) should be ready by mid-summer or sooner. "Those of you who are Atari owners and have access to BBSes, spread the word about the show on your local net! Be sure to bring all of your Atari friends! See you at the Computer Fest!!" I had the same problem when I received a GOT myself for the purchase of some software. However it only took 3-4 days for the credit to show up in my account. GEnie told me they were aware of this problem and are looking into a way to customize the e- mail message so you can tell it was generated by the GOT area. ---------- H.COLLINS3, CAT 27, TOP 3, MSG 53/M475, May 31, 1993 Only Software package left: Calamus SL (28.08.92) $275.00 Please Leave GEnie Email at H.COLLINS3. Thanks, H-Man ---------- L.DOWDLE1 [Scott Dowdle], CAT 27, TOP 5, MSG 59/M475, May 30, 1993 Hello Atari Gang, I'm looking for a copy of a game called SECRET OF MONKEY ISLAND. I'm having trouble finding a new copy for sale as I've called all of the major Atari mailorder places and no one has it in stock. Currently Computer Studio has it backordered for me but I have a feeling that they might not be able to get it if it is out of print... so to speak. SO, I'm looking for someone who might happen to own SECRET OF MONKEY ISLAND and is interested in selling it. It's for my game playing wife! Thanks in advance!
