Font View 1.2 FreeWare copywrite by Bill Pike GENIE: W.PIKE Compuserve:71550,3614 I have a number of Shareware and Public Domain fonts for PageStream, unfortunately I had no idea of what letters were in the fonts, or for that matter, just what all the fonts looked like. I had no idea of what each font looked like, with various attributes. Making a long story short, I created a Pagestream .DOC that uses all 256 characters as well as the most used attributes and several different point sizes. OK, how to use the document. #1. Load the document into Pagestream. #2. Switch into OBJECT mode. #3. Use the mouse to "Lasso" all sections of the document EXCEPT THE TITLE AND HEADER ie: leave out the section for the "font" type and the "24point All characters" everything from there down. #4. Call up the Font Menu. #5. Select BLOCK. #6. Select the font you wish to print. #7 use the mouse to select "point size" push to clear this DON'T PLACE ANYTHING IS THIS SPACE this allows the program to maintain the font sizes and attributes in the document. #8. Click on OK to change all the text. #9. Now you should be back on the document, Last but not least change to TEXT mode and change the title "Font Type" to the name of the font you will be using. #10. Select Print and go for it. The Document is one page and uses the entire page so it is one font per page. There will probably be extra space in the 24 point main display box. This is caused by un-used letters and about 1/3 of the box being left open for letters that use more space for each letter than Tyme. I hope you find this program useful, I have. If you wish to think nice thoughts about me or say nice things that is fine. If you wish you might drop me a line about the file or even give a "Gift of Time" or maybe a dollar or two, if you find the file really something you can't do without.
