this, run NEWSDISK.PRG in high or     
medium resolution and click on the    
various text files to learn more about
the program.

This file is a late addition.

TITLEW.TXT contains ONE LINE of text  
that will appear in the top line of   
the display window.  If you do NOT    
create this file, the line "NewsDisk -
By Tom Bellucco" will be used.  I     
recommend putting 2 blank spaces      
before and after the line, for        
example, "  NewsDisk - by Tom Bellucco
 "

Remember, NewsDisk supports the       
ShareWare concept.  If this program is
of any use to you as an individual or 
as a club, please send a donation to  
Tom Bellucco, 52 Hamlin Street,       
Rochester, NY  14615.  Those that send
in donations will be sure to receive  
any future updates.  I plan on adding 
custom dialog boxes as soon as the GFA
Companion is available.

As a reminder (you'll see!), make sure
each external program (.RUN file) has 
its own .DOC file.  Also be sure to   
create 2 title screens (high and med  
res) and you might want to stick the
word "Initializing..." somewhere in   
the title screen.  It takes a little  
while to scan the directory for all   
the text files.
 
Due to some re-draw problems, NewsDisk
disables all desk accessories while it
is running.  I apologize if this is an
inconvenience and hope to have it     
fixed in the next revision that       
includes the custom dialog boxes.
