   You are about to install the most versatile crossword program currently
available on the Shareware market.  It is called THE DAILY CROSSWORD,  and
provides you with a completely automatic method of  creating  professional
quality crossword puzzles.  We hope that you will enjoy using it, and that
you will introduce it to all of  your  friends  and  associates.  Remember
however  that it is intended  only as a  demonstration  program,  designed
to give you an impression of the power of  CROSSWORD EXPRESS  which is the
name of the program you will receive when you register with AUS-PC-SOFT.

   CROSSWORD EXPRESS is a Windows program which is packed  with additional
features which make it an absolute must for the crossword hobbyist and the
crossword professional alike. Briefly, the additional features are :-

: Full mouse support, as well as the ability to  control the  program from
  the keyboard.

: Regardless of the type of printer  connected to your system (dot matrix,
  ink-jet or laser), CROSSWORD EXPRESS will print to it provided only that
  it is supplied with a Windows printer driver.

: A wide range of print options  allows fine control of the  appearance of
  the printed output, including size,  positioning and font.  Clues can be
  exported  to the  Clipboard  for  subsequent  importing  into  your word
  processor, desk top publisher etc.

: Supports an unlimited number of dictionaries,  and allows you to  select
  more than one dictionary when making a crossword.  The  dictionaries you
  select are merged into a single MULTI dictionary before  construction of
  the crossword begins.

: Supplied with 3 dictionaries viz:-
  ENGLISH - over 30000 words and clues.
  ENG-ITA - over 9000 English words with Italian words as clues.
  ARITH   - over 6500 arithmetic clues and answers as words.  (Thats right
            CROSSWORD  EXPRESS  allows  numbers  to  be  used  as  well as
            letters).

: Name your puzzles as they are constructed,  so that they may be recalled
  at a later time.  The number of  puzzles  which can be saved is  limited
  only by the vacant space on your hard disk.

: MULTI-MAKE function allows up to 9,999 puzzles to be made in  unattended
  mode, and printed out or saved for later use. This facility is ideal for
  making novelty place-mats for use in fast food restaurants etc.

: A  scoreboard  function  keeps you up to  date on  progress as  you  are
  solving a puzzle "on screen".

: A preset word  facility allows up to 20 words in the puzzle to be preset
  to particular words of your  choosing.  CROSSWORD EXPRESS  will  fill in
  the remaining words.

   As a registered user of CROSSWORD EXPRESS you will also be able to take
part  in a  Network Distribution  system,  whereby  you may  introduce the
program to other potential users,  and receive a system of commission pay-
ments for any  sales which  you are able to  promote.  Full details of how
this system is intended to operate can be found on the Help screens  which
are available from the Help Menu. (To access the Help Menu, just press any
key except 'P' or Escape, whenever you are in the HELP system of THE DAILY
CROSSWORD).
