In one player mode it's played against the clock, or in this case a bomb with a long fuse! Two players can battle it out by scoring points and taking control for each correct match. The only other option is a choice of grid size, allowing 6, 24 or a ridiculous 96 pairs, at which the icons are rather small for comfort. The whole game is peppered with running commentary, in the form of a nauseating synthesised voice. It makes various remarks about how good or bad the last move was. Running it on more powerful Ataris (like the Mega STe) makes this sound like The Chipmunks with flu!
