The Showground is easily accessible by car from junctions 13 and 14 on the M6 just north of Birmingham with ample free parking and they'll be a shuttle bus service running from Stafford railway station. Entry costs œ3 on the door or œ2 to Atari Computing subscribers, children, OAPs, UB40, students and orange card holders. Atari Computing subscribers should claim their discount entry by bringing along a completed AMS'99 flyer which UK subscribers should have received along with this issue. This time around the AMS'99 flyers were sponsored by CyberSTrider and their ad appears on the flip side of the flyer - it's great to keep it in the family! Party On! To commemorate the closure of Atari Computing magazine with our January 2000 issue we'll be celebrating the millennium early at our Millennium Party which will take place on the balcony within the main hall during the show and we look forward to extending our hospitality to you all. System Solutions are gearing up for some exciting new releases at the show. Currently in progress is ArtWorx 2, the powerful vector-based illustration package from Application Systems Heidelberg. Papyrus 7 document processor is planned for its first UK English release, to be demonstrated in person by Ulli Ramps of R.O.M. logicware GmbH. Prepare to be very impressed by this latest version. Upgrades should be available on the day so remember to bring your old disks and manuals. For hardware enthusiasts, a technology presentation by special guests from Centek is planned. Meet the designer of the CENTurbo Falcon accelerators and the new Phenix 060 workstation, have all your questions answered and more! Of course, there will be tempting show offers on the CENTurbo II. Professional audio, MIDI and CD-recording solutions are on the menu, as well as upgrades and essential accessories to suit all pockets: serial port accelerators, Marpet Xtra-RAM Deluxe, eLCo HD-module... an impressive list! There's also a possibility the show will see the UK launch of Atarian - a brand new printed Atari magazine - fingers crossed for this one! Atari Computing are pleased to join with Sharward Promotions to bring you the best possible Atari experience. Visitors to ACC'98 and the Spring AMS'99 certainly enjoyed the extra dimension offered by combining the two events - effectively visitors get two shows for the price of one! In addition to the dedicated Atari stands you can also look forward to dozens of other stands offering general computer hardware, accessories, cables, CDs, books, satellite, telephone, radio and general electronics.
