** 1 page Siteceeing / 750 words ** Richard Gordon Faika Software Development 83% http://www.atari-computer.de/rgfaika/ ** RGF_WEB.GIF here ** Richard's pages are entirely hand coded HTML and devoted entirely to Atari content (a man after my own heart). These pages are a showcase for all of RGF's software, developed using GFA BASIC, which include: ** UL ** * Luna: text editor (reviewed p43) * Spica: LED Panel clone * Arthur98: German<>English dictionary - excellent * CBO: Alternative GFA-Compiler user interface * Elly: MOD-Player * Psych: Graphic/sound demo * Schon-Me: Screen saver with plenty of loadable modules * Rookie: Simple boot selector * SAMxPlay: D2D sample player - still in beta ** /UL ** The pages are sensibly organised with an individual page for each software title which provides general information, screenshots and so on. All the software is available for download from a separate download page which makes it easy to re-visit the website to check for updated versions. There are no graphical navigation aids and, apart from the screenshots, you might as well browse the pages in text only mode. There's a links page to other Atari sites and a guestbook to send Richard some feedback. I found the black background, blue links and orange text a little hard on the eyes but these are easily turned off via the CAB Use document settings option so you can suit yourself. Joe Connor --- Claes Holmerup 79% http://www.holmerup.com ** CLAESWEB.GIF here ** If you're interested in music visit these pages! Claes Holmerup, along with other Swedish Atarians, have formed a virtual record company which any musician can join to publish and sell their music on the web. For Atarians the site offers and up to date Atari news page and anyone using a Falcon for audio or Cubase will almost certainly want to add this site to their hotlist . There's detailed advice for anyone thinking of buying a Falcon to use for digital recording along with a list of hard drives and their suitability for AV use. If you're experiencing audio problems there's a troubleshooting page covering all the likely symptoms, solutions and modifications. Claes has been using and repairing Falcons for years and is happy to answer enquiries by email personally. The site is functional rather than visually attractive but the structure is easy to navigate. The site makes use of frames and CGI scripts (which defeated CAB) but everything else works fine.
