Prime Time It feels great to finally get another issue out the door. Looking back it's been far too long. From the Neuss show last October past ACC'98 in November and into the New Year a lot has happened on the Atari scene. Our contributors have been busy - so busy we ended up with more reviews than we had space for! Rather than hold them over until the next issue we've upped the page count for this issue to 64 pages - but we'll have to pay for this binge by producing AC#13 with 56 pages. Thanks to everyone who attended ACC'98 and made the event a great day out for both exhibitors and visitors - check out our show dairy on p12. ACC'98 formed part of the massive All formats Micro Show (AMS) which is in its fifteenth year. The AMS shows are held twice a year and the next one will take place in Stafford on Sunday April 18th. Atari Computing will be there along with other Atari vendors to promote the Atari platform so make a note in your diary - more details next issue. With a successful ACC'98 behind us and, for the first time since AC#7, a slight increase in subscription levels we can look forward towards our millennium issue! At 11.59pm on December 31st 1999 our fifteen year old machines will click smoothly past midnight while (if we believe the pundits) stock markets will fail and planes will be falling out of the skies - time to start stockpiling second-hand Atari machines alongside those tins of baked beans! Against this upbeat background we were surprised and saddened to hear Floppyshop have decided to bow out of the Atari scene but we'd like to thank Steve, Irene and Eileen for supporting Atari Computing from AC#1 and wish them all the best for the future.
