Double Trouble? Hey, we've reached double figures, nearly two years after the UK news-stand magazines gave up on the Atari scene, not bad eh? To celebrate we splashed out on the glossy cover! It's not all good news. Our subscription and advertising levels have both peaked and we've entered the twilight zone. As long as our contributors sit in front of their computers reviewing the latest software, coming up with features to entertain and inspire us we're prepared to put in the mammoth effort needed to publish the next issue. Their enthusiasm is our motivation to keep going so thanks to each and every contributor for getting us this far. If you'd like to contribute something for publication please send it by email or on disk to the contact points in the masthead opposite and we'll get in touch. Apple's recent comeback has proven the Wintel stranglehold is not irreversible. The Milan TOS based computer, named after another bird of prey, looks set to offer Atari enthusiasts a competitively priced alternative to a trip to PC World! Quite where the Milan fits into the upgrade pecking order remains to be seen. Is the Milan too little, too late, or just enough, just in time? As soon as we can get our hands on a review machine we'll set about answering these questions by reporting in detail exactly what these machines are capable of. If you receive this issue in August instead of July you have my daughter's Teddy Bears Picnic to thank - it took priority for a crucial few hours before our deadline! Finally, just in case you're wondering where the cover titles went, we left them off because we didn't want to spoil the stunning cover image - they'll be back next issue... somewhere!
