FOREM AND TURBO BBS UTILITY PROGRAMS
        FROM NODE 398

Other utility programs from 398 are listed below. If you would
like to be placed on my mailing list of nodes to send new versions
of my utilities to please send me an email.

All of these programs are AS-IS and come with no warranty of any kind.

Included in this archive is:

SAF_LZH - The latest version the SAF Compression program used by the
FNET network to compress files for transfer between nodes.

SAFCOMB - A utility to merge two or more SAFS.DAT files.

SAFMAN - A SAFs Manager program with many useful features including
           verifying your SAFS.DAT file integrity.

FILES - A Download Directory Manager that allows a sysop to quickly
scan all of his/her download directories and edit the access
level of files or add new files to the download directory.

FARCLZH - An ARC/ZIP to LZH conversion program that has many features
that allow conversion of ARC/ZIP files to LZH format to
save space and time on your BBS.

LOGAPP - A Log Append program to write text to your log file during
batch execution or wherever else you want to use it.

UNZIP - An ARCSHELL compatible UNZIP utility that can be used by
FILES and FARCLZH above and MODZIP below.

MODZIP - A ZIP file level comment modification utility. Add your
custom ZIP comments to every ZIP file on your board. Just
like the IBM boards do. Requires ST UNZIP 2.0.5.

CRC - A CRC generator/checker program to verify extraction integrity.

Since all of these programs are intended to save you, the sysop, much
time and effort, I would like to ask each of you that use these programs
to send me a small pittance to compensate me for my time and effort
in producing these programs. I am not looking for much here. Just
ten to twenty dollars to acknowledge that you use these programs and
have benefited from their existance.
