CROSSWORD POWER

Version 6.00
Create, print out and solve crossword puzzles from your words and
clues. Words can be manually or automatically placed in the
puzzle grid. Auto-search can quickly create over 200 different
word arrangements to find the puzzle with the most words. Puzzles
can also be saved as WordPerfect 5.1 macro files.
Puzzles have been used by trainers for seminars, by teachers for
vocabulary review, by businesses for their company newsletters,
by newspapers for promotions, and for solving at parties.
Hard-to-find fixed-width 12 and 15 pitch soft fonts are included
for the H-P LaserJet II and DeskJet printers. Fonts for the
EpsonLQ and Proprinter X24E are supported. A wide variety of
printers are supported allowing solid black, checkered pattern, or
other ASCII characters to fill the unused puzzle letter squares.

SHAREWARE. All rights are reserved. You may make 1 copy of this
program and documentation for a 21 day evaluation.
If you decide to continue to use this program, you must pay a
registration fee of $39.95 plus $2.00 shipping/handling. Checks,
MasterCard, VISA are accepted. Purchase orders are accepted from
schools. School district and site licenses are available. To
order CROSSWORD POWER, use the order blank that can be printed
from the pull down menu.
Registered owners will receive a printed manual, diskette with all
improvements made since the distribution of the shareware diskette,
removal of all references to evaluation shareware, notification of
major updates, BBS and voice telephone support. CROSSWORD POWER
can only be updated and improved when you support my efforts.

A QUICK TUTORIAL:
1. Insert the working copy diskette in drive A:.
2. Enter the word PUZZLE when A:> is displayed.
3. When the program is loaded, the Title Screen will appear.
4. Then the Menu Bar will appear at the top of the screen.
5. Use the right arrow key or left mouse button to go to the
Settings Menu.
6. Move the cursor down to the Select Printer Settings and press Enter.
7. Make the correct settings for your printer.
8. Press Escape to leave the Printer Settings.
9. Move the cursor and select Save these settings on the Settings Menu.
10. Move the cursor to the File Menu.
11. Select First Word List.
12. Move the cursor to highlight the displayed word list. Press Enter.
13. Move to the Puzzle Menu. Select Automatic Arrangement.
14. If you like this program and want to continue using
CROSSWORD POWER, you must register and send payment.
