Poker Squared runs on any ST platform with a monochrome monitor. If you are
using a Mega STe please disable the CPU cache and run at 16 or 8 mhz.

If you enjoy solitaire, and you like poker, then you're gonna love this game!
Twenty five cards are dealt, one at a time into a square on the right side
of the game board. You must decide where to place each card on a grid of
twenty five squares. Just point and click the mouse! You want to create
ten possible poker hands. Five up and down, five side to side and two hands
diagonally. After the last card fills the grid, the computer will calculate
each row and your score will increase depending on how high a poker hand you
have.
                      Royal flush 899 points
                      Straight flush 790-798 points
Four of a kind 689-677 points
                      Full house 307-475 points
                      Flush 294-306 points
                      Straight 284-293 points
Three of a kind 270-283 points
                      Two pair 99-267 points
                      One pair 86-98 points
                      High card 71-83 points
Three ACE'S score higher then three TWO'S, etc.

After the ST calculates a hand, it creates a button representing the poker
ranking and flashes the current hand for your approval. You can watch your
score increasing as each hand is calculated and if you beat the high score it
will be saved to disk for the next time you play. Delete the file called
POKERSQR.DAT to reset the high score to 999. Before you start the next game
you can review your hands by clicking any of the buttons created on the left
side of the game board. Hit the right mouse button to review the point count
for each hand.
