Short: RAM disk, auto-formatting for both 63x09 and 68x09 Author: Gene Heskett Uploader: Same Uploaded: May 9 1998 Type: OS9_6X09/SYSMOD Replaces: Any of _my_ older ramdisks, ram3 ram8 etc. Description: This is the latest, I've been using it since forever, version of 'myram' an automatic ramdisk. It functions by initiating itself with the first access to whatever size the descriptor is set for, and continues until either it is 'deiniz'd or you reboot. When deiniz'd, all memory is returned to the os9/nitros9 system pool. This upload brought about by someone emailing me with a question, and discovering he was using an older version, and thats the only one available on this archive site, hence this update. Its been so long I honestly don't recall if this is a bugfix, or just an optimization. But its the one I'm running, its stable and bulletproof. The docs either contain a sample descriptor, or pretty well describes how to make or steal one. Also, ignore the email address in the docs, its been historical for about 4 years now. Use the above address.
