This archive contains binaries for GCC 2.4.5 and libg++ 2.4 for Solaris
2.1 for x86.  The system was compiled to expect things set up in /usr/local.
The tar archive contains files/directories beginning with the path "local",
e.g.:

local/bin/*
local/lib/*
local/lib/g++-include/*
local/include/*
local/i486-sun-solaris2/*
local/i486-sun-solaris2/include/*
local/info/*
local/man/*
local/man/man1/*

The string "i486-sun-solaris2" is compiled into the binaries.  Do not
shorten this path or change its name.
