Problem:
How do I pass the Gate of Wisdom?


Hint:
Take the feather from the guard's headdress. Take the stone from the lower left
side of the  screen. Place the stone in  the gutter so that the  water falls on
the left statue. Next, use the feather  on the left statue. This will cause one
of the gates  to rise. Repeat the same  steps on the right statue  to raise the
second gate. Click on the opening to walk through.


Problem:
How do I pass the Gate of Force?

Hint:
The Gate of Force is an arcade sequence. You must shoot a minimum of 26 statues
in order to pass this test. You  are given several tries to improve your score.
There are approximately fifty statues on the  course. If you are unable to pass
this test then you will need to go back and choose the Gate of Wisdom.

 
Problem:
How do I get past the Guard to steal the Tumi?

Hint:
You will need to  draw the guard's attention and knock him  out. First click on
the cocoa leaves and take the post with the rope. Place the post above the gate
entrance. Walk to  the pile of rocks and  throw one at the guard.  Quickly hide
behind the  vegetation to the  left of the  screen, or scroll  to the right and
click on the fence.  If the guard didn't see you, he  will walk to the entrance
and stand there for a brief moment. Click on the rope and the post will fall on
the guard.


Problem:
What do I do in the Cabin of the Three-Master?

Hint:
In order to join the war you  must get control of the Three-Master. First click
on  the Control  Panel located  on the  left side  of the  cabin. Click  on the
control keys  and enter any  three-digit combination on  the numerical pad.  An
alarm will sound. You will now be able to enter the airlock.


Problem:
What do I do in the airlock?

Hint:
Enter the airlock, scroll to the left and click on a portion of the pipe called
the Reservoir.  You will notice a  crowbar. Click on the  crowbar and scroll to
the right. Use the crowbar to pry open the case of Vodka and click on a bottle.
Return to the Reservoir,  click on it and pour the Vodka  in. Exit the airlock,
go back to  the Control Panel and click  on it. Choose either F1  or F2 for gun
position. Exit the Control Panel screen and  click the throttle lever to the On
position.

How do I plot the map?


Hint:
To plot the  map, click on the center  of the water hole, left  of the mountain
range. Go  northeast about 160  miles. Click near  the tip, to  the left of the
dark green valley.  Travel 100 miles southeast, past  the mountain range. Click
in the center of the light green  area between the large mountain range and the
two smaller mountain peaks. Go south for 150 miles and click on the medium dark
green area. Finally, go east for 330 miles  and click on the upper right tip of
the water hole.

What kind of fuel does the train use?

 Hint:
This is a steam engine. Use the water in the water tower for fuel.

Hint:
Use the crowbar to remove the peg.

What are the red arrows for in the train arcade sequence?

Hint:
During the arcade  sequence you will notice 4 directional  red arrows. When the
attack is ready commence,  a red arrow will start blinking. Click  on it and it
will take you to the location of the attack.

How do I remove the rust from the dials on the safe?

Hint:
Get the bottle of mercury from the chest and click it on the rusted dials.

How do I open the file cabinet?

Hint:
Click the razor on the rope that is tied around the cabinet and use the key.

What is the combination to the safe?

Hint:
The combination is located in the file of the locked cabinet.

Problem:
How do I open the file cabinet with the rusty key?

 
Hint:
Try rubbing the key on the sand to remove the rust. The key should now open the
file cabinet without any problem.

 Problem:
Tips on winning the arcade fighting sequences.

Hint:
If  you find  yourself pitted  against  large  numbers of  the enemy,  the best
defense is to stop the Tumi and  take advantage of the weapons you have. First,
use the  Atomic Disintegration Bomb,  you have 5  of them. After  that, use the
Clean Nuclear  Torpedoes, of which you  also have five. Start  your engines and
pick  the remaining  enemy off  one at  a time.  You'll knock  off most of your
enemies. Don't use your IA missiles right  off the start, it's too easy to miss
targets. Another helpful hint. If given the  option to fight your enemies or go
on to the other planets, you may want to fight. Choosing to fight will decrease
the number  of enemies you will  encounter in the final  Assault. Finally, take
advantage of  the Tumi's maneuverability.  Use your map  to change targets.  By
selecting your targets, the Tumi can dart  to different areas of the battle and
attack specific ships.

Hint:
You need to enter the mangrove, try clicking on the broken stems to the left of
the screen.

Hint:
After clicking  on the palm  leaf, use the  palm leaf on  the ground to  reveal
footprints.

What do I do in the mangrove area?

Hint:
You  need  to  scare  the  Ibis  and  Monkey  away  from the nest. Try throwing
something at them.

Problem:
How do I get to the nest?

Hint:
Find the oyster located at the lower right  side of the screen. Click it on the
Monkey to scare it away. The Ibis will also leave.

What do I do with the nest?

 Hint:
In the nest you will find an emerald egg. Click the oyster pearl on the egg.

What does the crocodile need?

Hint:
Place the pearl and emerald egg in  the eye sockets of the crocodile. This will
revive him.

Hint:
The purpose is to place a power in the sphere. You will need two scepters and a
gourd to complete this puzzle.

Hint:
Scroll to the right 1 screen and click  near the bottom of the wall. You should
be able to see an outline of a door. The 2 scepters are located below the door,
one at each corner.

Scroll to the left screen once from the  pillar. Place one half of the gourd on
the keystone located above the entrance of the cave.

Hint:
You will need to climb the cliff to  get to the fort. Move your mouse cursor to
the top  of the screen to  scroll up. You can  use the branch to  assist you in
your climb.

How do I climb the cliff?

Hint:
Use the  peg on the block  of stone and hit  it with the mallet.  Scroll up one
screen and click the  ballast rope on the root. Go back  down and use the light
thread on the end of the ballast rope.  Now pull on the light thread and attach
the end of the rope to the peg. Finally, click on the small stones, then on the
block of stone.

Problem:
How do I select the correct prayers?

Hint:
You need to  click on the prayer scrolls  so that all three prayers  are in the
air at  the same time. Try  clicking on an even,  even, odd number combination.
Try 2,4, and 7 as a combination.

 Problem:
What do I do on top of the plateau during the lightning storm?

Hint:
Click on the  opening and take the chain.  Click the chain on the  point at the
base of the golden lightning rod. The  lightning should strike the rod and melt
it. Use  the crowbar on  the casting to  get the shield.  The CD version  might
refer the casting as the basin or grindstone.

What do I do at the Avalanche?

Hint:
You need to  clear the avalanche before you  can enter the temple to  place the
next power.

How do I get past the Lama at the Avalanche?

Hint:
Give the Lama the conch shell and make a gong to clear the avalanche.

Hint:
Click on  the sticks that are  located in the snow  to the left of  the screen.
Click the sticks on the snow. Click the  strap on the sticks. Use the shield on
the strap. Hit the  gong with the mallet. Make sure to  give the Lama the conch
shell.

What do I do in the Temple?

Hint:
Use the mallet on the icicles. Pick up  the broken pieces and place them on the
spot where the  sun is shining. The ice  will melt. Quickly click on  the water
skin and place it under the melting ice. Pour the water into the basin.

What do I do with the unconscious guard?

Hint:
Get the necklace from the guard. Use the razor to cut the cord.

How do I open the hatch?

Hint:
Use the crowbar on the hatch located on the left side of the opening.

What should I do with the pearls from the necklace?

Hint:
Insert the pearls from the necklace in the appropriate spaces on the panel. Use
the mallet on the pearls.

Hint:
After  inserting the  pearls in  the panel,  exit the  screen and  click on the
opening located on the  right side of the screen. Use the  mallet or crowbar on
the ledge.

Hint:
Note: halfway  through each tunnel you  will encounter an eye.  Simply click on
the eye to continue. Go right, left,  right, right, right. Click on the eye and
you will reach the Room of Statues.

Hint:

the eye to continue. From the Room of Mirrors click on the tunnel. Click on the

the eye and you will reach the Room of Mirrors.

Hint:
To finish the maze puzzle you need to  return to the room of statues. Click the
music box  on one of the  statues. To return to  the Room of Statues:  From the
Room of Pictures click on the tunnel. Click on the eye. Follow this path: left,
left, right, right, right, left, right. Click on the eye and you will reach the
Room of Statues.

What is the object of the flower puzzle?

Hint:
The object of the  puzzle is to pollinate a flower to  produce all three colors
on one flower. The colors are blue, a reddish orange, and green.

 Problem:
How do I complete the flower puzzle?

Hint:
1. Click on a flower to open it. 2. Click the Stone of Light icon on the flower
petal to reveal its true color. 3. Click on the flower to get the pollen. 4. Go
to the next flower and repeat steps 1  and 2. 5. If the color is different from
the first flower, then click pollen from your inventory on the flower. Click on
flower again and use the Stone of Light to reveal two colors. Repeat steps 1, 2
and 5 to reveal 3 colors.
