Release 4.03

- NetSense will now display the number of conversations that it analyzes.
- Fixed a PacketVisualizer exception occurring with large trace files (100Mb+) containing thousands of conversations with a single server.

- Fixed problem with PacketVisualizer printing only headers and footers on some platforms/printers.
- Summary byte totals for Clt<-Svr are now correct in C/S Expert.
- Selecting a packet diagnostic from the pulldown in the PacketVisualizer now moves to the correct packet for all tick spacings.
- Changed 'Total Bytes' and 'Total Packets' to 'Snd+Rcv Bytes' and 'Snd+Rcv Packets' in station and network statistics to more accurately reflect what the totals mean.

Demo

- The demo now allows you to run NetSense with the included sample trace file or up to 250 packets from your own trace files.  All the functionality of the full version is available.

General

- Expanded analyzer support.  Now supports WWG Domino, NAI SnifferPro, Shomiti Surveyor, and many others.
- All new ProblemFinder feature which allows the user to control the Client/Server Expert and PacketVisualizer diagnostics.
- Expanded expert problem detection.
- Can drag & drop a trace file onto the NetSense main form for automatic opening and reading of the file.
- User assignable names to server port numbers for "lesser known" or proprietary port numbers.

Client/Server Expert

- Columns added for TCP zero windows, TCP resets, and ICMP error reports.
- Summary of total problems found in C/S expert.
- Can now summarize packet and byte counts from client to and from server, client to server only, and server to client only.
- Low response time and low throughput numbers are now highlighted for easy identification.
- New sort drop down list makes it easier to sort by top talkers, worst response time, best throughput, etc.

PacketVisualizer(tm)

- Customizable colors and fonts.
- Can now print all or part of the PacketVisualizer including a print preview.
- Can select all or a portion of the visible portion of the PacketVisualizer for copying to the clipboard by clicking and dragging with your left mouse button
- In addition to the frame number, the PacketVisualizer can now display the frame size, delta time, cumulative time, and cumulative bytes (for receive or send+receive).
- Can now find any diagnostic via a drop down list.
- ICMP error report packets are now integrated into the conversation.

Station and Network Maps

- If there are more than 20 nodes on a map, a slider will appear to control number of nodes that are displayed based on amount of traffic sent by that node.
