When you create a new puzzle, a Wizard will guide you through the stages.
If you want to change the puzzle after the Wizard has finished, use Edit|Properties, or click the Properties toolbar button.
Add clues to your puzzle using the Words section of the Edit|Properties window.
The shareware version of this program must be registered after 30 days. This will allow you to add more than 5 words to your puzzle. See Help|Registration.
If you don't want these Tips to keep popping up, turn off the check box at the bottom of this window. You can turn them on again later using Help|Tip of the Day
Use the View|Show Answers menu to control whether the answers are visible. This applies to the screen and the printed output.
You can add a title to the puzzle, in the Page Layout section of the Properties.
Click the right mouse button over a puzzle to bring up a menu of useful options.
Vary the effects of your puzzle by changing the fonts used. Look under Fonts in the Properties window.
You can turn off the Wizards using Help|Wizards.
You can embed puzzles in other applications using OLE, see Help for details.
Double click an object in your puzzle to edit it directly.
Create interesting shaped puzzles using Design mode (Edit|Design Mode).
Centre your puzzle on the printed page, using the Properties Page Layout option.
Choose a different sized puzzle, using the Size section of the Properties window. Large grids are more difficult - but if you make your grid too small the words might not all fit!
Create more working space on your screen, by turning off the Status display or toolbar, using the View menu.

If you don't like the way your words are arranged in a Word search, use the Redo menu or toolbar button to try again.
Control the difficulty of your Word Searches using the Difficulty tab of the Properties window.
