e-Business Applet is a complete e-commerce solution
in one java applet. The applet loads a text data file and displays
the content in a grid. Users can easily browse, search and select
the items they want to purchase. e-Business Applet calculates a
total price and sends the order by email. You can get the applet up
running on your site with your data in less than half an hour. You
don't need to program or have access to cgi scripts on your web
site. Still the applet can be configured to post orders to a cgi
script and integrate with most e-commerce solutions as a standalone
store front or as an alternative to traditional html pages. All
credit card numbers are encrypted with a strong encryption routine.
You decrypt credit card numbers received with your incoming orders
with a Crypto applet included in the
package.

| Installation |
- Download
and unzip catviewpro.zip on your local computer.
- Make a text data file of your products containing
one product description per row and as many columns as you
need. Most databases can export data to a text file. Columns
must be separated by comma, semicolon, tab, space, quote
mark or double quote mark.
- Make a HTML document that include the
applet tag and set the applet
parameters that fit your data. You can look at the
source in this HTML document as a starting point or
use the online
parameter generator. All the parameters are included in
between the <applet ....> ... </applet> tags.
- Create a secret session key parameter with the Crypt
applet if you want payment by credit cards.
- Include "how to order" instructions the order.txt
file.
- Upload CatviewPro.jar (for Netscape users), CatviewPro.cab
(for MSIE users), the HTML document, the data text
file and the order.txt file to your web site
- Load the HTML document in a browser and the applet
will run.

Please download the fully functional trial above. The trial will display
a dialog each time it is loaded. Licensed applets will not
display the loading dialog.
If you find the applet useful for your purpose you can
purchase a license. The license fee is $35 and cover one
network installation of the applet with unlimited,
simultaneous user access to the applet from as many HTML
documents as you like. Upgrades are free of charge in 1 year
after you receive the license key.
We need the CODEBASE of the applet on your web site in order
to issue a license key. The CODEBASE is the path to the
applet at your web site. Typically something like http://www.yourhost.com/catviewpro/.
The license key is an applet parameter named LICENSE and an
encoded value which you must include in your HTML
documents that use the applet. Register for a license key
